Benefits, and limits

Straight talk about what drones change.

• No ground contact. Works on peat and wet roads.
• Less carrying. No sacks or tanks hauled through blocks.
• Lower water volume. In an IPB trial, 20 L/ha by drone versus 200 L/ha by knapsack.
• Records. Flight logs show exactly where product went.

Limits

• Small tank, frequent refills.
• Rain and wind stop work.
• Very tall palms and steep pepper gardens can be hard.
